Board of Director Application

Please review the rules and expectations below to ensure you can meet the requirements for the position(s) you’re applying for.

Voting will take place at the Annual Meeting on December 3rd at Stanton Middle School. You must be present at the meeting to be considered for the Board..

  • Voting Rules:

    • Prospective Board Members must be present at the meeting.
    • Only bondholders can vote.
    • Each family gets one vote.
    • No solicitation during or prior to the meeting.

  • Board Member Expectations:

    • You must attend the majority of monthly board meetings.
    • There are volunteer requirements for pool events, which will be discussed as we plan for the 2025 season.
    • You must be able to perform the duties outlined in the position description you are applying for.
    • Board member terms are a 3-year commitment.

  • Conflict of Interest:

    • Board members cannot be hired for jobs within the organization.
    • Board members are not allowed to sell items at the pool.
    • Jobs related to the pool will be filled through competitive bidding.

OPEN POSITIONS

Swim Team Director (2 positions) – Chairman of the Swim Team Committee, attends all SSL meetings on behalf of Skyline Swim Club, coordinates all swim team events and swim meets, maintains communications with the Swim Coaches and parents, coordinates meet set up and clean up, parent volunteers and acts as a liaison between the Board of Directors and Swim Team.
